Nearing the end of the L’Oréal Paris Runways, Runway 5 presented by Cosmopolitan presented designers with the ‘must-have’ fashions.

It seems that this season everyone is doing the Balmain, with sharp-shoulders being the must have trend, featured on blazers and dresses. White Suede featured the edgy statement along with their leather statements, which Bettina Liano also echoed in her leather shorts. Liano’s range also took on the trend of underwear as outerwear, with a stunning bodice strapless with tulle trimming, oozing sexiness and seductiveness, while being totally on trend.

This is Genevieve rocked the 80s with leggings and fringing, with the ostrich feather ‘shag rag’ jacket making a statement as a come-back trend. Hussy gave out military orders with silk cargos teamed with a double-breasted cropped military blazer, while Nina Maya’s range embraced the flower garden for a floral affair and Joveeba adapted the harem pant to a drop-crotch skinny leg.

For the men, Extinct brings back the preppy layered look, with glasses an optional, yet desirable accessory. We also see the introduction of lighter coats and trenches for men, with a leather anorak part of the collection.

Nicolangëla’s collection exudes elegance with stunning crystal detailing, with the feminine luxury also explored by Wayne Cooper with his statement bodice strapless with a train.

APL Photography covered the fashion on the runway, and captured the famous faces off the runway, snapping LMFF ambassadors Miriam and Olivia Nervo, Neighbours star Robbie Margot and beauty Pia Miller.
