Madison presented Runway 3 for the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, with the collaboration of designers embodying elegance and sophistication. APL Photography captured the latest collections by Anna Thomas, Aurelio Costarella, Gwendolynne, Jayson Brunsdon, Lisa Ho, Megan Park, Nevenka and Thurley.

Black and white were predominate colours for the minimalist colour palette of the runway, with deep purple hues also making their mark, matching the deep crimson and violet stained lips which is the ultimate make-up look of the season.

All collections embraced a sense of vintage charm, oozing the elegance that comes with the winter months. Coats, leather gloves, waistcoats and waisted-belts, along with bodice detailing and the allure of silk are all staples for your winter wardrobe.

Lisa Ho’s collection stood out on the runway, with her feathered skirts, vests, dresses and boleros taking flight. Jayson Brunsdon used glitz and glitter, sparkle and shine amongst his collection, with silver metallic shorts, and a beautiful long, silver, robe dress being standout designs in his collection.

Gwendolynne was the showstopper of the evening, with her collection embodying modern fashion perfection. Gwendolynne’s gowns are feminine and stylish, perfectly tailored and coutured to elongate the body. Her designs are simply beautiful, with delicate shades of cream washing away the gloomy days of winter. Using fine fabrics and crystal embellishment, a Gwendolynne gown should be on every lady’s list of wardrobe must-haves this season.

We’re already halfway through the L’Oréal Paris Runway program and with an impressive collection already making its mark, there is sure to be more exciting styles to come.
